Default temp displays "OC"

So my outside temp display was working up until last night. Now it displays OC constantly. All of the other functions (compass, mpg, fuel range etc.) still display properly. Any ideas what would cause this?

Check for corrosion at the plug and sensor by the hood latch.

It appears that your truck has suddenly developed a strong desire to move to Orange County.

In all seriousness I'd start exactly where Blazin00LT suggested.

I had the same thing, inspected and everything looked fine. Finally just purchased a new ambient air temp sensor and replaced the one behind the grill and that solved the problem. Mine was going back and forth between -80 and OC, guess mine wanted to go somewhere colder?

Before I could look to see what the problem was it started working correctly... Chalk it up to a quirky blazer maybe?
