Windows, Cruise and Heater Fan not working
#11
It is the ignition switch, i put one in this afternoon with the same symptoms ABS light on, No power windows, No heater/AC fan. Blazers are death on ignition switches, sometimes they give these symptoms & sometimes they cause the transmission not to downshift & throw a bunch of electronic transmission torque converter codes. Don't waste your time on these tracing wiring harnesses, buy a switch & put it in.

Here's what's going on. Driving along and everythings fine. then the Yellow ABS light comes on. when it does it may stay on for a few seconds or a few hours and while it's on the Power Windows, Cruise Control and Heat/AC fan will not work. Then the Red Brake light will also come on for a second then both lights go out and everything works fine until the next time. Any Ideas? Thanks! It's a 1997 Blazer.
Check your orange wire coming out of the ignition switch and not hot when key is on then replace the ignition switch. been there done that

I had come a cross this when my 94 chevy caprice ignition switch broke, after replacing it my power windows, blower fan, and speedometer was not working. My problem was in the ignition switch box (on top of steering column) one wire was loose.
