Default wiring issue

I am building a 46 chev pickup on an S10 chassis utilizing what I was told was a 1999 Blazer column. I have everything working except the turn signals and 4 ways and cannot get them to work. I received a wirng diagram for the columd 48 pin connector but it is different than my column. I am using an EZ wiring panel system and they told me when I purchased it that it was one of the worst columns to hook-up but assured me they've done it before and would walk me through it. Well 3 months later and still no help from them. It would be helpful I'm sure if I knew the year of the column. Does anyone know how to i.d. what year a column is from? I appears that there is no power going to the flashers and I can't seem to solve after many attenpts. I obtained a trouble shooting guide for a chevy column but it hasn't been of much help.; The first step was to ensure there was power from the A plug position 2, which there isn't but it really doesn't tell me where that power is to be coming from. Can anyone help me with this. I am just about ready for a sfety so I can plate it but havinf no signals will not pass the safety
