Default 85 Blazer K5 Power steering fluid leaks out of the top

Hello Folks,

I know this is not the right section to open this thread but I am a new memeber and can't post it anywhere else.

Short description of my problem :

Power steering fluid leaks out of the top of reservoir

- I did check the fluid level and did make sure it is way on the
lower side

- I did replace the cap just in case

- I did check the low pressure ans high pressure line they are fine

- I do have little wine noise but not so bad

- When I drive steering goes easy if I stop it goes easy in the first moment than steering becomes weak if I rise the rpm in neutral a little steering works better .....

I feel sure the pump is just old and need to be replaced what you guys think ?

thanks for any tip
regards
Gunter
