Default Anyone know anything about 2003 Malibu ABS?

Wifes car. The ABS lite is on and won't go off. It's seems that something in the rear circuit tripped it because the front ABS kicks in okay on ice. My OBD2 reader isn't or won't pick up any codes for the brakes so I'm kind of lost. Checked the wiring and connections at the rear wheels and they seem fine.
1. Is there anyway I can retrieve the codes without a reader?
2. Is there anyway I can reset the lite without a reader?

Thanks in advance.

You need a dealer Tech 2 or equivalent full function scan tool to read the serial communications devices in your truck like the ABS module.

You can pull the battery connection for 10-15 minutes to clear the codes, but that won't fix the problem.
