I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer with exactly 100K and it will not shift over 40 mph... is the solenoid is bad... or do I have a bigger tranny problem...will someone help...had a service engine code like a couple months ago but the light is not on anymore...i love my truck but I would never buy another one or suggest to anyone to buy one... could someone plz help! thank you!

 

Honestly your best bet to save time and lots of $$ is to take it to a tranny shop so they can atleast diagnose it. 4l60e have alot of issues an dont end up like me by wasting money on solenoids o find out the tranny was shot.

 

what about disconnecting the battery to reset the computer?
