Merry Christmas everyone! Time to get in the spirit! Here's a little poem I wrote...

'Twas the day before Christmas,
And I was begging her please,
Honey, oh honey, give me the keys!
The snow is there falling,
It beckons me, calling,
Come, come, play in the snow,
Your Blazer will love it, don't you know.
So I begged and I begged, and got down to my knees,
Honey! Please, honey! Give me the keys!
But the keys to me she would not give,
O what a sad life I live!
But finally, with glorious joy,
She gave me the keys to my wonderful toy.
Out in the snow I went to play,
Surely to spend the entire day.
We jumped over a snow bank
And hit a skunk (it was sure rank).
We slid on the ice,
We climbed the steep hills,
And we nearly made quite a spill.
But I saddened so,
When the snow had to go.
As the snowmen fell apart,
It ravaged, it broke, my poor, sorry heart.
We returned to our home,
Never more to roam
In the snow.
But as I continue my meager existence,
I hope for the ice, O how it glistens,
On the frozen ground, in the powdery snow.
When it does, I'll be found; you know where I'll go...

Haha heres my version:

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
But i was awakened by such a soft sound
It was snow hitting the frozen ground
So I got up quietly, and grabbed my keys
Put on long johns and my carhart so i wouldnt freeze
As she turned over, the cherry bombs growled
and i smiled at such a sound
Put her in drive, in an instant i was gone
sideways i went across the neighbors lawn (hehehehe)
drifting around corners, it was such a blast
but the last one i hit, just a little too fast
sideways she went, deep in a ditch
and me stuck without my winch
forward and reverse as fast as i could switch
but she sure was stuck in this ditch
headlights in my rearview, so i get out to see
it is my neighbor, steady laughing at me
he drifts away, and i see to much horror
He is leaving in his ford explorer.
