Good Birthday. Now rabies?

I've been through rabies vaccinations and they are not all that fun. Raccoon decided to tangle with my mom's jack russell at 2AM about 10 years ago... My brother had a baseball bat. I had the 12ga... Only thing I did wrong was touching the thing with my bare hands while putting it in a garbage bag...
I don't have a problem with needles at all, but they inject a ton of stuff into your gluteous maximus. You're sore for a few days after that... And there's 3 different injections, unless they have changed something since then.
They usually don't bother testing since it can take awhile to get the test results back and you have to start the vaccinations ASAP.

Nope. And I washed my hands with bleach right after too. Didn't matter. It's a relatively cheap vaccination and is done as a precaution.

In order to test for rabies the cats head has to be removed and brain tested. So r.i.p Mr kitty. Guy from the health department called me earlier and i missed the call. They wont answer the call now and its driving me nuts.

They remove the head and cut the head open and get some of the brain, then they do some type of direct florescent antibody test and if they see florescent spots in the brain then it is positive for rabies.
