Default Great Webite For GM Techs

So this semester at college one of my professors had the great idea of saving students money on a $100 text book while also giving us more useful knowledge than a text book ever could. He said their is no required text for the course, just to subscribe to the website www.flatrater.com . The cost is $30 for 6 months or $50 for a year subscription. This website is great! the guy who runs the site is a flat rate tech in California and he posts real case studies of various cars he works on in the dealership every week and their is a forum that you can access through his site to discuss the current case study. He explains how to save time on diagnosing, how he goes about diagnosing and finally the fix. Anyone wanting to learn how to be a great flat rate tech should look into this site. Being a member to the site also gives you access to all the archived case studies since the site was started (totaling over 400 case studies). Ever since I subscribed I have been on this site everyday and i love it! Granted it’s no blazer forum but it’s a pretty cool site so check it out!

seems like an interesting site, from what i saw/read.

not really sure if i would pay for a membership though. i'd have to do alot of work on GM only vehicles fro it to be worth while.

I saved it to my Favorites. Might subscribe one day just for chits and giggles. A lot of systems are very similar across models and even makes.
