I've never even heard of this movie. Is it new?

No. It's fairly old. It was in Theatres late last year, it's out on DVD now. It had Gerard Butler and Ludacris in it.

Pat: I have a buddy that had his left hand flayed off in April 2004. He was fitted for his robot hand shortly there after. I hung out with him summer of 07 and he was smoking with it, and could hold and drink a coke with it. He just imagined he had a hand and a bunch of senors on his shoulder and upper arm read impulses and twitches and crap, and the robot hand did his bidding. Very cool.

As for the movie, it looked entertaining, but I was waiting for it to drop into the Red Box before I saw it. I too am wondering if it is worth the $1 and 2 hour investment.
