I tend to stop when I'm not on my way somewhere important (work or the like... on my way to the bar, who cares, I'll stop) usually.
A couple winters ago, it had snowed overnight and the road was still a bit slushy but mostly clear. Traffic was going on this road about 35 MPH. The speed limit is 45. This jag in a Caprice comes flying up on my rear, then flys by me (no passing zone) and cuts me off. I drop back and he does it to the car ahead of me. Then the 2 cars in front of them. Except this time, on his way back into our lane, he loses control, spins across the road, through the ditch and backs up to a tree nice and cozy. Screwed his back end way up, it was nasty.
I stopped to make sure he was OK even though he was being a jag. Never even acknowledged me, just pulled the car back onto the road and went the other way. I looked in the papers for the next few days, but didn't see any mention of a stolen car, so I assume he's just a moron.
