Default Interesting event today...

So, my boss and I car pooled to one of our clients today, its an hour drive, so no sense in wasting fuel in two vehicles to go one place. On the way back, we stop, and he picks up a small tractor from a friend's house (he drives an F250 4x4). We finally get back to my car, I get in, and start headed home. Well, couple minutes go past, and he calls me and says hes lost 95% of the power in his truck, and he cant go over 60. So I get behind him, and start following him in case he has a problem. He calls again a couple minutes later... cant get over 50. Couple minutes later... cant get past 40. So we pull off the road in the town I live in, he drives to an oil change place to get his fuel filters changed, I go drop off the car i'm in, and pick up my truck (07 F150 4x4), and meet him at the oil change place. we stand around while they work on his truck, finally think they got it fixed, so he pays, and leaves. I fall in behind him just to make sure he gets on road alright.

Well, his truck stalled at that traffic signal. No start. Not getting fuel. fuel lines are clogged bad. BAD. So I hit my flashers, and get in front of him.

Now comes the best part.... I grab my handy chain (20 footer), hook it to my tow hitch, and his tow hook. Then I tow him AND HIS TRACTOR 15 miles to his fathers house, where we unhook the trailer, and pull the truck in the fence.

I felt so awesome today, pulling an F250 pulling a trailer with a tractor on it.

No pics. believe it or not, it happened.

I bet your auto transmission is going to crap the bed soon enough, thats alot of weight for a 150 to be yanking around. Myself, I would have made him pull that heavy load with his tractor while I drove my pickup behind him with the flashers on
