PRK both eyes at the same time. Went from 380/20 & 430/20 L & R to 20/20 in both (had a strong astigmatism). Best money I have ever spent. That was 5 years ago now and I still see as well today as I did 6 months after the surgery.

If you can do Lasik, then that is far and away better than PRK. Much shorter healing time. I couldn't do Lasik because of the extent of the reshaping that was necessary.

Yea Ive been reading up on it for a awhile now and seen some of those videos. I love the demo where they take a blade across your eye. I guess they will tell me whats best for me.

Like kyle said it's based on how bad your eyes suck. the old way was slice the eye meat, roll it back, laser shot at new flat part, then the old eye part is rolled back over. Like fixing a squeaky section of your living room floor

It has come along way. Well worth it none the less.

I had Lasik done about 5 or 6 yrs ago. Been great ever since. I had it done in the afternoon about 3oclock went home took a couple of the Tylenol that they had given me to take had a nap for couple hours, got up Had a bite to eat then took a couple more tylenol before bed and woke up in no pain in the morning(but thats me, you could be different). Went to see the doc that did the procedure to do an eye test and was just shy of 20/20( although seemed pretty clear to me compared to what I had with glasses) went back a week later for follow-up eye test and was 20/20 and have been ever since. Would recommend it to anybody.
