yeah im thinkin so the bad thing is all the nice looking cars are to much $$$$ i really dont want one that needs alot of body work figured if i find one out west or down south it could be rust free found one in ky for 2500$ it has a good 355 fresh build and a beefed up trany not that i would be using any of that but at least its drives

6.0L with a turbo is what I am doing in my 2001 Z28. This is my fourth 4th Gen Fbody (1 LT1 and 3 LS1's) and I picked this one up last fall after being without one for over a year. Sold my mint 2000 SS with 42k miles on it to buy my house. Anyway, I was looking to pick up a 3rd Gen to do an LS swap into but couldn't find any clean ones. Found this Z28 with a blown LS1 and damn near perfect body for $2800. Sold the T56 transmission out of it and am good parts on the LS1 motor. Have since picked up a low mileage LQ4 6.0L out of a 2003 2500 truck and am looking for a 4L80E transmission to swap in as well. 600+ RWHP and the T56 wouldn't mix real well without spending a ton of money.

I have several parts already gathered already but the car won't be road worthy until summer more than likely. I would join LS1Tech or thirdgen.org and start reading on the swap, if you haven't done so already. LS1Tech will provide you with all the LS based questions you can think of and thirdgen.org has all kinds of information regarding the swap.

1991 Z/28 6.0L/T56 Swap - LS1TECH

That's a build I have been following since the beginning as that was what I initially wanted to do.

Good luck and keep us posted on your project.
