Mystery Part

Default Mystery Part

I was looking through a classic car magazine and noticed something odd. A couple of cars had a tube, like a tube radio, hanging out of a door window. I have no clue what thing is. When I've asked friends about it, they had no clue. we think it may be some kind of vintage heater or air conditioner of some kind. Anyone know what I'm talking about lol.

When I was a kid I saw those 'swamp coolers' on cars before refrigerated air was a common option.

wow they had that mounted on cars back in the day? looks pretty hi-tech to me...
