The only thing worse than an Apple is a Dell.
I think you made a good choice with an hp. The specs look good too.

HP's are good, as well as acer, the specs look good!

Sweet laptop!
I got a crazy friend who says the story awhile back about HP getting out of the computer business was cuz they got caught turning laptops motherboards off after the warranties expired.
He's amusing....but really did have me scratching my head for awhile and wondering....it was odd for HP to out of the blue announce that.
