Ive always been more of a first gen F-body fan. Ive helped restore a couple of others that friends owned, one in depth, and it took forever for me to find a rolling chassis in Dallas for myself....and as luck would have it, right after I got it, CD III came along, which definitely lengthened the restoration time frame (and wifey still aint over losing her parking spot). I built a rotisserie for it cuz it had a lotta rust issues and I hate laying on my back and cutting/welding/grinding underneath a car lol. This is the project Im presently stalled on, hopefully not for much longer...a 1968 Firebird. Its almost ready for paint and I have a crate engine and a stock 350 out of my '74 Nova for rebuilding, and Im not sure Im gonna use either in it
This is what I started with......
This was the next morning
And this is how its been sitting for the past year and a half

Heres my '79 z28, after finding out the engine wasn't original and also it had bad compression, I decided to swap in a LT1 350 out of a '93 z28 along with the 700r4 and fuel injection. I had the short block and heads reconditioned by a local machinist, and also installed a mild cam (crane 227) and forged pistons. The car also has 4.10:1 gears, and overall it gets about 20 mpg, and it runs great. I plan on repairing all the exterior sheet metal after i'm done with college, and attempting to paint it myself back to the original silver with red decals. But for now it is a great driver with plenty of power

Nice Camaro, ever run it in the 1/4?

ITs not a really old car but it is still almost 30 years old. Its a 1981 Toyota Starlet. I call it the American Import. Engine on wheels. Sorry about the poor pics my camera was acting up.
The Best Part of all The Engine
427 Big Block Stroked 454 This car is pushing 800Hp. Does High 9 second quarter mile without nitrous. The nitrous bottle has never been used. More for show then anything. Its actually empty. Motor is brand new only about 10 Passes on it.
Setup for 150 shot right now
The car is up for sale right now. Looking to get $20K for it. Well over $75K in it and a few years of work to get it the way it is. Might see super chevy for the last time at maple grove next month.

Thanks, I just put it together over the winter so I haven't really gotten to take it out. I want to get some new tires before I head out, but I'm guessing it should be able to run in the 13s n/a. I built it so in the future i can run nitrous
