Saw the aftermath of the exact same thing. Getting off the highway I saw a Girl leaning against her ford escort that was pancaked to the window with some other car protruding out of its front end. The girl was crying and someone was on the stretcher.

Police officers can legally talk on cell phones while driving, most of the officers job is conducted on a cell phone, calling witnesses, other officers and what not... they are trained for that type of driving though...not saying they dont screw up while doing it though. But also they use the radio and laptops while driving too.

Yes it does lol. I was talking to Barrie's head swat officer yesterday while on his cell phone and looking up something on the laptop! We were still able to carry a conversation.

I guess I have something to add to this thread.

I was on my way to fear fest and Canada's Wonderland and we were behind a 2002ish Lancer. Yellow, Lowered, Nice rims and....EVERY stick on chrome badge you can buy at Wal-mart. Even had both V8 and V6 on the trunk. Anyways, Traffic was brutal, we went 500 feet in the matter of 10 minutes and only the one lane that was turning in. Well Lancer dude decides to try and whip out in the next lane and jump some cars. WRONG MOVE! t-boned by a Mazda doing 40-45 km/h. Best thing was, The older lady who probably didn't want anything to do with Wonderland got out and screamed at the guy! Even called his car a "hot wheel"! We weren't there long enough to see when the cops showed up but we saw her pass by a few minutes after so I doubt they even waited. The lancer was the worse of the two for sure. The Mazda only had bumper and headlight damage while the lancer needed major repair to the door/wheel well area.

since this thread seems to be about stupidity of other drivers and hitting **** i got one, not sure if i mentioned this on some other thread or not.

This parking lot by my place is THE WORST parking lot ever for horrible drivers, i think its because all the seniors go to the zellers there for lunch then go over to the mcdicks for coffee, waltz over to do some shopping at dollarama then pick up their grocerys from safeway and pick up lunch at perkins on their way to canadian tire before they get their afternoon coffee from tim hortons!.
Well anyways
Im sitting in the blazer in a parking stall waiting for something i have no idea what, this is winter BTW, this little old lady comes walking slowly up to her car thats parked infront of me, she looks at me and smiles and gets into her car, gets it turned on and everything, looks at me and smiles again with the sincere smile of the eldery. cranks her wheel all the way to the left and floors it (in a FWD car)..thank god she was in reverse............................she smokes the car parked to the right of her spins out into the parking lot and smokes another car, she is then facing down the aisle and stops with a look of confusion on her face, she pauses for about 5 seconds, doesnt fix her steering wheel, and floors it again. does another 180 and smokes another parked car. This time i figure she just wanted to be leaving the aisle that way so straightened out and started to drive away. One of the cars she hit was a guys who was just leaving the store and saw this, he came yelling, WTF ARE YOU DOING, OMFG MY CARS ONLY 2 DAYS OLD, she looks at him smiles as if she has no idea whats going on or what shes saying and tries to drive away.........slowly, another bystander ran infront of the car to stop her............well she finally stopped after she hit him and he went onto his hood, at least she was only doing about 5kmh and the guy jumped on the hood.....
But this is a regular occurance at this lot and i have seen MANY MANY MANY things just like this in this same lot

oh ya btw i figured its been 2 months since a post on this thread, give it another kick of life, haha

Yup this thread pops up every now and again lol.

Parking in the "cheep" lot at school is the same... the **** that I have seen in there, and people wondered why I parked on top of the snow banks during the winter... it's because the little cars couldn't reach my Blazer up there.

I kinda have one, the other day i was sittin at home comfortable studyin for my math test (barley passed with a 63), my parents decided to take the 1500 out to the grocery store.. it's gone through a rear end swap, and needed a new battery.. So it dies in the parking lot of Publix and a friend of theirs jumps them off, so they get down to the turning lane to my neighborhood, the alternator is a Drag Racing grade alternator.. professionally made, the battery dies while it's running shutting it down in a complete tko, power steering, abs, everything.

So about 3 minutes later i get a call from them 'get dressed and get your *** out here with the blazer we died on Blanding' so i get dressed, cranked her up and sped off.. When i got to the truck behind them was a lady in a Brand new toyota tundra.. just sitting their.. they have the hood up and emergencies on, i have my emergencies on and am revving behind her.. she sits their and looks at me like i'm a friggen ghost.. and they don't have their hood up, so about 5 minutes later and 2 cops passing by (Thanks fricken Orange Park Sheriffs Office.. so useless) she gets out of the way. So i don't have tow hooks.. so we matched up bumper to bumper.. roughley and i pushed them home after understeering to get it in the yard.. we pushed it in with the help of our neighbors.. and i need to paint my bumper

Thought i'd share.

(cops around here) As well they enjoy blocking on coming traffic in a crowded parking lot, JSO and orange park cops are some of the worst at driving in florida..
