Let him sue you for bad feedback. I would like to be in that court room with you and all of your evidence, he would be suing for what exactly? Because you used your judgement and right to free speech saying that you were not satisfied? I do not see any case for him or his company to press a lawsuit against you even if it is only in small claims. I would really contact your attorney general and see if this guy has a prior history of complaints plus contact ebay.

But this is only my opinion and or sugestions because I am not an attorney or a legal represenative. I just have some legal knowledge.

Apparently there was a case where the negative feedback was considered libel, but the situation was different, and the man sued after giving a refund and the feedback was left....

I am tempted to tell em that they should finish my blazer.... and send then some links to a 6in sus lift
2in body lift
32in rims/tires
and some offroad lights and brushguards....

But seriously... If the guy would have just said, sorry, and told me that there is nothing more he can do, he wouldnt have wasted 1.5 hours of my life, and made me miss class (although I called him so its not entirely his fault)

This whole situation escalated because of Gina.... I stopped the paypal dispute because I am going to attempt to make the things better by taking the lead.... I know that the dispute probably was the number one thing for me, but this guy was more worried about feedback... I almost think he would pay 10k to get positive feedback than get paid 10k for neutral or 100k for negative...

Honestly, that will not get you anywhere. Telling them everything you want to do to your vehicle and asking them to pay for it would be a poor decision IMO. Obviously they won't even send you a new hood, why do you think their going to buy you 4 thousand dollars worth of stuff? The situation sucks. But I would just go after a new hood, don't be asking them to buy you stuff for your Blazer, although, if it worked, that would be cool, but don't get your hopes up. Hope everything goes good.

Yes. Really you originally asked them to just make good on the hood. That is what you're after isn't it?

I am sorry that you are going through all of this, but it seems like something is missing from this whole story. It seems awful quick for this company to jump to being so rude.

And I also am sorry to say this, but you will not get anywhere with them. BBB or otherwise. One thing that you now know with aftermarket sheetmetal suppliers is that you MUST COMPLETELY inspect the merchandise before signing the shipping papers. That includes removing it from its shipping container and fully inspecting the components. Once you sign for the shipment, any and all damage that might have been present is now your problem. Body shops deal with this on a daily basis.

Yea, I was not there when the shipment came in and they were busy at work, so they rushed through it to get back to work

But the guy told me they were set off by this...

"I am not the only person to leave negative feedback...."

I am not the only person to leave negative feedback...." If others are having similar problems with said company then that company needs to examine their entire process. Even more so if he's more concerned about feedback than making your situation right. I would still leave the negative feedback and tell him why. That's what the feedback is there for right? Doesn't customer service still apply regardless where your business is? What would have happened if the product wasn't signed for and refused? He did say "I'm not Wal-Mart" right?

My thoughts: The seller is technically right because the product was signed for and accepted. The quality or lack of was found after. That's legally all he could stand on if he did try to sue you for slander.
Delivery took a long time, taxes were brought up which should have been included in the sale not brought up after. Either way you still paid the tax. Then when the product finally arrived and you weren't satisfied and attempted to recitify the situation you recieved terrible service plus threats.

I myself would not want to do business with this company and I don't believe a company run this poorly should be in business. So I would report this to the BBB, State Attorney General (file a complaint) and leave negative feedback.
