I was stationed at a SpecOps small boat school in MS. Can't recall what I did on this particular day ten years ago, though.

Ten years ago... Hmmm... I worked as a security manager for a large nightclub... Had no kids... Had my choice of chicks to take home every weekend... I drove a V8 S10... Was not balding... Yeah, I got alot more hot-young @ss then than I do now.

whats funny is actually started thinning up top around that time but it just stopped, if i look at pics from back then and compare i really didnt get any balder, i think my prayers worked.

*EDIT* I think you are 10 days off, I cant find anything about a blackout on the 24th of August. Only the 14th.

I actually started the thread back on the 12th

The area that was completely out and stayed out was much like your map
However I have a sister in Northern Ontario as well as another that was in Prince Albert Sask.
They were on the telephone together and both had the power go off at the same time
