So my side jobs have kept me pretty busy but I have a few pics to share with y'all. I know there not blazers, but at least they are chevy s10s lol. I had a ton of work to do on the 88 s10 so I forgot to take a before pic, but imagine a two tone that has rusted out cab corners and a sun faded/peeling paint job.
The same guy who I did the army truck for saw my monstaliner kit in my garage and asked what it was. I showed him rexmburns truck, and he talked me into doing his 98 instead of my jimmy. I also re painted the grill. Now if I can just get time to work on my own projects...let me know what y'all think.

Thanks guys! The paint for the 88 is a semi flat green from rustoleum. Its a rattle can, I dont have the numbers on me. I have found that through trial and error that you can make a paint job look good from a rattle can. You have to do at least 3 light coats, alternating the direction to avoid a wavy finish. Its best to use a flat paint, it blends much better, if you want a gloss finish then grab a can of clear coat and give it several coats, then you have a gloss finish that looks almost factory. The camera in my phone sucks, but in the flesh they look great. I also touched up the star after I took the pic. The guy i did the work for wanted it all as cheap as possible, I wanted to use krylon ultra flat but that was almost 9 dollars a can and the rustoleum was only 4. He also didnt want to pay me for welding in panels so I did 3 layers of fiberglass to cure all the cancer. The star i found online by a company that makes masking stencils for people who want to make there jeeps look military. There product was 10 dollars each, too much for a budget truck, so i went to my local copy works and had them blow up the image to 10 inches and print it on heavy card stock. 88 cents for the two as opposed to 20 bucks!
I have to thank rexmburns again for the inspiration to do the monstaliner! I will direct everyone to his build page, he covers it all much better than I could. But I will say that this stuff is amazing to work with! When you start rolling it on you cant help but smile. I have already ordered another kit to do my jimmy, now im keeping it out of view from people who stop by lol.

HAHA I'm just happy you like it!! I would feel like crap if I recommened it so much like I have and you were unhappy with it
I figured that wouldn't happen though with all the compliments and questions I get about it everywhere I go.
