lowering my 1992 4dr jimmy
hello evreybody as you can see Im new to this forum Couldn't find a jimmy forum but its the same thing i was wondering there are some kits out there cost pretty much 300 i found this kit on jegs http://www.jegs.com/i/Ground+Force/476/9921/10002/-1 does this work? anybody have this installed ? and for shocks im just gonna buy some kybs just lowering it on stock rims make it clean and nice any ideas?
I dont know why it wouldnt work. It says it is only for 2 door but i dont know why it wouldnt work for the 4 door. As far as i know the suspension is all the same. If you do it post back up and let us know if it worked.
Looks to be a clean and simple 3inch drop kit a few things to remember when doing this kit get drop shocks like you were talking about doing some kyb also look into toxic shocks as well, and above all after install is done make sure you get the truck aligned cause when you lower a vehicle the wheels will want to go to a positive camber. I have lowered tons of vehicles, put air ride and also hydralics on many over the past 11 yrs. If you need additional help with going lower let me know.
