$400 bucket

Just a few things, I pulled the new fuel pump out and hooked it directly to a battery and it barely worked so I'm getting another one, unfortunately I tossed the box it came in so I'm stuck with an exchange, so Spectra gets another chance. It has a pretty bad trans leak from the pan, so I'll go ahead and do a filter and fluid change while I'm at it. There's an oil leak from either a power steering hose or oil cooler line, I haven't bothered to find it until the truck is driving again. I also orderd a new front air valance and grill. I'm hoping everything will be here in the next weeks.

Haven't been on here in a looong time, but the Blazer is pretty much finished now, it starts everytime, the 4wd works again, most of the rattles are fixed and it is pretty enjoyable to drive. It turned into a bigger project than I had planned, I went through 3 fuel pumps before getting one that worked and kept working, I made a fuel pressure gauge from old R12 hose and gauge, the oil cooler lines were leaking, so those had to be replaced, and anyone who has replaced these knows that they weren't designed to be removed from the vehicle. The prop shaft was in the back when I bought it with a broken U-joint and no mounting hardware, so got that stuff and was pleased to see that the 4 wheel drive worked. During this I noticed the drivers side axle shaft had a rip in the boot and spent a good amount of time fighting with that trying to get it out without completely seperating the knuckle, which I've concluded is not possible, I then put a small gash in the upper ball joint, luckily it is the bolted on one and not riveted in, and that was the final repair, I still need to have the alignment done but my friend who normally does it for free is on vacation until March, so I'll probably have to pay for it.
I also put a different style rim on and some 31's, replaced the grill and bumper and got a few odds and ends for the interior.

It's like reading my S10 (and every other) problems/fixes minus the fuel pump. Haven't had to do that yet <knock on wood>, but the gas gauge likes to do it's own thing once in a while, especially at half tank or less.
I recently noticed my driver's side axle shaft has flung grease in a nice line around the bottom. Corner wrench says 'they almost all do that'.
How did you go about replacing those oil cooler lines then?
If your ball joint was bolted, I'm wondering if it had been done once already (and being an S10 I'd put money on it). When doing my OE lowers, they were stamped/riveted in and that was a treat to get separated.
Those are 31s on there? No rubbing at all? I have similar to the wheels you replaced (stock) and tried a 31 on a front to test out and it wasn't happening.. hit the lower back of the front fender right away. Stepped back to a metric that comes out to be 29.6 diam.
Your $400 bucket looks pretty nice!

Thanks man, I have a slight rubbing when I'm going in reverse and have the wheel turned about a quarter way, but that's the only time it rubs. I did buy them used so maybe with full tread the rubbing would be worse. I'm also curious if a previous owner had the torsion bars cranked up based on how the camber is, kinda like this \-/. The oil cooler lines sucked just because I had to release both motor mounts and pick the engine up about 3-4 inches, it wasn't that bad, just sucked when I came to that conclusion that the rear lines weren't coming out any other way. The front lines were a breeze though and got me excited that I would be done quicker than planned.
