Default 2002 Chevy Blazer Xtreme

Hello everyone,

New to the forum, but not new to Blazers... This will be my 3rd Xtreme Blazer. The first one was a Sonic Blue Metallic, the second was white and now I'm rocking an Indigo Metallic blue. I'm looking to keep this one for a long time. I have plans to lower it, and keep it stock for awhile, atleast until the 4.3 kicks the bucket. Then it might get a basic ls swap.

So I know that the Blazer Xtremes are typically 1.5" lower in the front(and I believe the rear aswell.) I am planning on adding 3 inch blocks to the rear and doing 2 inch drop hubs, and Belltech "chevy lean" spacer in the front, which should level out the truck. I'm curious how the truck is going to fit the American racing 18 inch Riddlers that i have on it, once it is lowered. I really don't want to deal with rubbing or excessive cutting. I know that I may have to cut off the pillow mounts on the rear axle if I want to avoid it bottoming out.
Here is how she currently looks.

Default New here too

Nice truck. I just purchased my first Blazer. It's all original, but the front bumper lip is broken. I'm thinking of installing the ground effects front lip (same as the above picture). Daughter is saying keep it original...any thoughts? The blazer will be on the street most of the time.

I say have fun with it with the ground effect valance. Few if any Blazers qualify for preservation as a classic. If you are not sure, get a good replacements stock valance to reinstall at a later date.

Finding a really clean Xtreme Front valance is tough. To do it right you will also need the brackets, which are probably a little harder to find. I think that if your blazer is stock, non-Xtreme just replace the front bumper. The Xtreme front valances tend to break and hit alot of curbs. Especially if you lower them like I plan to do. Which is a 2 inch spindle drop and 3 inch blocks.
