general blazer xtreme question

general blazer xtreme question
what does the extreme use in the front for the lowered stance?
i know the x used lowering springs for a 1.5 inch drop out back but no clue up front.
i'm looking to get zq8 front and rear sway bars, lowering leafs for the x (or just remove one from my pack), and curious about the front because after all is said and done, i'll add the lowering kit ontop of it all so i'll probably be at about a 5-6 inch drop for half the price of a 6 inch drop kit. thanks guys

I'm not sure.
It may have shorter springs, and different lower control arms. But that's my guess...

Is this what your looking for? It came off the s10 forum.
The Blazer Xtreme features the Z87 sport suspension.
The S10 Xtreme features the ZQ8 sport suspension.
The Blazer Xtreme is lowered 2.5 front and 2 rear from the factory.
The S10 Xtreme is lowered 2" front and 2" rear from the factory.
The S10 Xtreme has 235 55 16 tires...
The base S10 has 205 75 15 tires...
(27.1" - 26.2" = .9"/2 = .5" ride height difference)
The Blazer Xtreme has 235 60 16 tires...
The base Blazer has 235 70 15 tires...
(28.0" - 27.1" = .9"/2 = .5" ride height difference)
So if they used tire size in their drop calculations then....
The Blazer Xtreme has a 2" drop coil in the front and 1.5" drop leafs in the rear.
The S10 Xtreme has a 1.5" drop coil in the front and 1.5" drop leafs in the rear.

i know how they do the drop out back. they use one less leaf, but what is used up front to drop it? i found all that out but not the actual drop.
was it coils? spindles? what? thats what i'm curious about

for $331 i'd have a 3-4 drop with sway bars. i'm basically wanting to take a completely stock blazer LS and make it better than the xtreme with looks, handling, and be one of a kind. this is with the coils, blocks, leaf, front & rear sway. not wheels, spindles and everything else
The plan is to eventually
zq8 front sway
zq8 rear sway
2in drop spindle front
3 inch block rear
leaf take away
2in drop spring
hunter bull bar
HID fog lights for bull bar
zq8 16s for summer time shenanigans haha
i'd love to go full bag like qtips but i don't want to do any frame alterations so springs, coils, and blocks...

Yeah, I can't tell you much more than that I don't know much about lowering cars will have to be something I'll have to learn about when I eventually lower my car.

well, when i do mine i'll be very picture happy. obviously our two trucks are not really similar seeing as how they're 20 years different but anything is better than nothing right?
