Default 2002 transmission cross reference

I have a 2002 Blazer LS 4x4 with a bad tranny, Will a 2000 gmc jimmy tranny fit? Or a1999 S10 Truck tranny fit?

They will both bolt up and work properly. I typically do not like to use older transmissions (than the model year of the vehicle) because of revisions in parts, etc. that can impact reliability, but from '98 to the end of the production of the 4L60E, no major changes were made that would prohibit the use in a newer or older vehicle during that time span. So if you have one that is in good working order and the means to replace it, go for it.
