i just used testors model paint for the bow tie, it holds up well to the brake dust and cleaning. i used rustoleum gloss black for the rims with minimal prep, just mainly washed them well and sanded them lightly. theres some spots where it didnt stick well, but there are no chips at all. as for the covers, with the nature of them being removed and being plastic, they have chipped since i did them back in march. i am going to go over them again when i get new tires next week. i was originally going to do the 6 pucks in red as well, but it was going to look way too busy for me and decided not to. however, i might go with a red stripe on the bead of the wheel to differentiate between tire and wheel


and btw, i do have an aftermarket stereo, 2 12's with only 800 watts. its enough to massage my back and be heard a distance from home. i might be upping it to 1200 in a few months

 

The bowtie also would look cool red
