Hello
Hi, everybody.
My name is Daniel and I'm located in Springfield, MO. I went and got myself a 02 Blazer ZR2 with 125k miles on it a couple of months ago. I've been hanging around here for a while without introducing myself, so it's about time
She is my first Blazer as well as my first Chevy, and I love her. She does have some issues, but that is to be expected when you're no mechanic and you buy a vehicle without any service history. I'd buy her again anyways
So far I have had my mechanic replace the water pump, windshield washer motor, idler arm and driver side upper hinge pin. I've replaced the driver side weather stripping and idle air control valve myself. And thanks to you guys here on the forum I've been able to fix the C0265 code + ABS and brake light problem, and the wiper circuit board. The wiper circuit board wasn't a complete success. The wipers always start now, but they do not always stop.
Since she's started using coolant my next project is to replace the lower intake manifold gasket. And the front airbag impact sensor on the driver's side. Someone at some point repaired it by zip-tying it together...
Anyway. Here is a picture of her:

Thanks guys,
It's a little rough on the inside, though. Found out today that the door panel on the driver side was glued on It cracked when I tried to get to the window motor to get the window back up. It was only the connector, so it was an easy fix. But now I have a loose door panel.

I went to a local u-pull and found vinyl door panels from a 4-door with leather, dash speaker grilles and mirror switch for only $54. So now I have a lot less rattle and working wing mirrors. And the doors look a lot nicer
