Hey guys, just found this forum. I have always loved Blazers but been waiting for just the right one and finally found it 3 weeks ago, went to the bank, brought her home.
I picked up a 2005 2wd 2dr 4.3 auto with 121k on her. Pewter in color because thats the best of course. She is in pretty good shape, only rust I have found is on the front and rear bumpers, which are getting replaced and shaved anyways.
So far I havent really done much to her except fix the recline lever on the driver's seat, remove the spare tire and mouint cause its ugly as sin and takes up precious sub box room and I tinted the rear glass, badly cause I suck at tinting, but I will get it done professionally this summer. It was just bugging be having the wing and rear side windows dark and the back glass being clear, looks stupid IMO.
I am going to lower it 4/5 and swap to ZQ8 wheels, which I already have, gonna steal them off my 02 lowrider. Just need some better weather so I dont freeze in the garage. Im old, I dont like cold.
Then comes the stereo. I am for sure putting a Kenwood double din cd/dvd player in it, swapping out the factory speakers for Infinity Kappas and then adding some beats, thinking a pair of Sundown 18's will fit nice in the back.
