Default Knight Rider Brake Light

Seems like I need two New Member posts, so here’s #2
My third brake light looks like KITT is knight-riding backwards. It’s actually kind of cool, but I’m not sure that it’s a good idea.
I’ve just spent half an hour trying to find out if this is actually legal in Colorado and still don’t know. It seems to be illegal to modify your brake light, but I don’t see any law against having lights modified by someone else.

This is just a comment, it is not a request for technical nor legal assistance
