New Blazer owner from Calgary, Alberta
Hey guys, I'm glad I have found this forum! Looks like I'll be needing lots of help I recently purchased this Blazer from a private seller and later found numerous issues. I decided I didn't want to walk away from it and I'm currently getting things resolved. So far I have replaced all control arms, ball joints, 4 brake calipers, tie rods and a few small items. I still have to do a lower intake gasket, transmission pan gasket, front engine seal, and some minor body work. I will be getting this Blazer good as new and I will be Plasti-dipping it as soon as the body work is completed along with all new lighting and rims and tires, new sound system, and possibly some new seating. The drivers side seat frame is bend and I'm thinking about putting in some nice leather seats from a newer car or truck. I will also get the rear seat re-upholstered to match. I have always loved this body style and I can't wait to see where this ends up. Hopefully I don't find any major engine issues or that might result in a LS swap or a rebuild and a turbo
