Hello Everyone
I'm new here but not new to Blazers. I have a 2nd owner 94 Full Size, 238,482 original miles. I'm getting about 14.8 mpg unloaded 75% highway 25% city. I've had it since Dec.03. It came with a few issues when I got it, ie cruise disconnects on it's own, sometimes won't restart unless I turn off the key and then back on. Timing was retarded 5 degrees, ABS light comes on after moving forward a few feet. Those issues still are present except for the timing. Stumped for now. I have replaced some High mileage items myself when I first got it because it was at 187k. Oil pump, crank seals, water pump, trans seals, Cam and lifters from stock to a Crane Rv cam (don't recall the part #). Most recently I replaced the front hubs, idler assembly, sway-bar end links, Transgo SK 4L60E, Sonnax pinless accumulators (fwd, 1-2, 3-4) Corvette Servo, got rid of the steel ***** and used Torlon, TCC lockup solenoid, Sonnax 77805-K TCC, shift solenoids A and B, Pressure Switch Manifold, 4L60E SONNAX BOOST VALVE KIT w/ O-RINGS .490" RATIO.
I also replaced the fuel pump, and sending unit, Install a Catback duel exhaust. I think that about covers it. About me I've retired from the Navy in 07, Avionics Tech, currently REALLY retired. I have a 77 Camaro, 70 Chevelle, of coarse the Blazer and a 96 GEO Metro. Oh yea,,,,,,Glad to be here
