Hi everybody, I'm Aron, and I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I found this site while browsing for parts and info on my new ride, a 97 Blazer 2dr 4x4. I just picked it up last week, but I'm no stranger to Blazers. My dad had 2 when I was in high school that I drove, first an 85 2.8 auto, then later a 91 Jimmy 4.3 5spd, both 4x4. A couple years ago I bought an 88 4.3 auto 4x4 as a beater / daily driver. It has developed a few problems that really aren't worth me sinking money into to fix, so I went out and got the 97. I'm probably going to scrap the 88.

I also own a 94 Camaro Z28 that is my street / strip toy. I've owned it since 98, and have done quite a bit of work to it. The list of mods is pretty long, but the basic "meat and taters" mods are a 355 LT1 with stock heads and a COMP cam, a little nitrous, full bolt-ons, fully built 4L60E trans with TCI convertor, Moser 9" rear with 3.70 gears, full QA1 shocks / springs, a couple suspension mods from BMR, and mild weight reductions. My best times with it so far on Nitto drag radials are 12.4 @ 108 on motor, and 11.2 @ 119 on spray. Hopefully this spring my tax money will be spent on some head work, a little more suspension, and some slicks.
