Be careful at Assunpink, they are not fans of people going there just to offroad. They do patrol and i've been stopped before. Wharton is nice if you can get down there, makes a great day trip. There are also places in Jackson (behind six flags safari) and in Lacey Township that have big woods with trails.

I agree with Mike, Wharton is one of my favorites, plenty of trails that go in every direction....I also know of a few decent trails down in Atco right next to the raceway, and some of the best (IMO) in Tabernacle.
If any of you Jersey guys are looking to get together one day and do a couple light trail runs PM me and we can set something up...it seems like there's a handful of us which would make it pretty fun

welcome. i believe there should be some good areas in hunterdon. I am in CT but I will make a drive down!

I'm from NJ in the Newark area. I do some light offroading in Essex county, but nothing serious. I've also found some nice open areas in near New Brunswick.

Does anyone know where near old bridge, New Jersey there would be some good trails?
