Default Noobs in Colorado

Whats up fellow gm owners? My daughter and I recently bought a 1993 GMC Jimmy SLE 4 door 4x4 with 177,000 miles. It had a few minor things wrong like rear wiper and under hood light, but everything else works! Well, the a/c doesn't but Colorado is not that hot in the summer. My 17 year old kid wanted a 1966 red mustang, but I got her this jimmy instead. Now she loves it. ('66 mustang for a teenage girl, are you nuts?) Besides, it is a much more practical car for her. Plus when she decides what she wants for her next car, I will get the Jimmy. Get this we only paid $800.00 for it. We already have plans for a mild lift and some taller tires. I hope to pick everybodys brains on this site for advice and tips.

Hubert,
Thanks for the welcome, I see you also own a Jimmy. My personal vehicle is a 2000 S10 2wd pick up with the 2.2. I put a G80 locker in the rear end for better snow driving. I don't think it's working anymore tho.

Welcome aboard! Hope all holds up with the Jimmy. What a great price and an opertunity to your daughter to turn some wrenches and learn a little about vehicle maintenance.
