Welcome from another Z owner.
As to you question on a brake controller, no, it did not come with the truck. The wires are out back to hook one up but you still need to purchase and install a controller and wire it in up front.
Also, stock size tires are 31X10.5. Any bigger and you need to do some mods.

Hey thanks everyone for your help!
As i was looking around near the receiver i for this mystery connection.
it is a 11 wire flat with a cap on it, made from delphi(blue).
merges into main loop of wire.
I a went to the dealership they had no idea.
