Just to add into a quiet thread I have been trying to talk my wife into lifting her Envoy XL like this. I don't know of any lift kits for Subaru's.

I was thinking about a trailblazer, I like them. Then I read this and now I dunno:

and you've never had any of those issue that were mentioned on the MSN link? every one of the problems mentioned in both links can be related to the Blazer/Jimmy/Bravada's. funny how they toss a sweet black TBSS up as the pic for the posting, kinda makes you think badly of the TBSS before anything else.

also, a vehicle is only gonna stand up to a certain degree of drsign abuse.

i put a new ring & pinion in my '92 Jimmy every year, for the 1st 5 years 'cause i would blow them up. also swapped out the trany 3 times. but did i curse the truck & GM? nope. it was all operator abuse, and the destruction went away when i finally built a FSLB to take care of my towing/hauling needs.

i've known 2 people who have had TBSS's one guy is ready to scrap his due to electrical gremlins, the other guy would sell his 1st born before that truck.

it all comes down to what day of the week your truck was born on. i don't care what the "nay-sayers" say, it does make a difference.
