Default First summer with Blazer

I have been wheeling Suzuki samurai for 20 years and my current Suzuki is an LJ80, the very little brother of the samurai. The LJ is slow and not very comfortable so this summer I added a tow bar and drug it behind the Blazer to the play trails.

A lot of the weekends I like to hit the back roads and normally had to bring a tent and all that to camp out. This summer I decided to use the Blazer as my little camper and we headed out and slept in the back. Put a nice foam down and when I get to the spot I unload the back and get some sleep.

I went out and bought some screen and right before heading out I tape up the screen on the two back windows...at night, windows are open and our mosquitoes are where they belong.

We do a lot of trails/roads that lead to caves/mines and I lead groups to a lot of different areas. I have been very surprised at the capabilities of the Blazer for being a bigger vehicle than I am used to and one thing I like is the auto and the power....my LJ has 800CC and trust me...no power.

On the east coast in my area most people will go play in the mud but I like to go explore on the lighter muddy trails and see more scenery....my little LJ is saved for the hard stuff but I don't need to drive it to work.

Zukimoo...I like the idea with the screens on the window
If you dont mind me stealing your idea and using it
I would like to add flexable magnetic stip to it in stead of
Tape to atttach to the window opening..

lol pretty good idea. my daily ddriver is a pick up truck with a bed cap on the back with sliding windows and screens on it, ive slept back there a couple times in the summer and that air flow makes the world of difference
