Instead of changing the gearing, I'd start hunting for a locking rear diff...

You can get a mini-spool for fairly cheap, but then, that's full lock, all the time... Not good for a DD...

I'm personally saving up for an Auburn ECTED locker... A nice limited-slip locker...

Which, unless you have the 8.5" rear diff, you can't get, lol...

Yea i find my gears to be ok for now, its my suspension and tires that are killing me. I got caught high center and had to have a jeep pull me out. It sucked.

Should've gone faster! lol j/k.

Pretty much any vehicle is in danger of being high-centered...

Aside from bigger tires and lift, the only real way to prevent it is skid plates and hope, or a heavier foot, lol...

I should really get a skid plate fabbed up one of these days...

Well my tires were about 3 inches from the ground. A lift and bigger tires would have helped ALOT. Remember I'm running BFG Radials

Should've started rockin' the truck, lol, or lifted one end or something... lol.
