I have a come along, a high lift jack, chains and straps. I just got a Ramsey Platinum 9k winch that I need to mount, gotta figure out how I want to do that. I'm thinking about making a custom bumper for the front and rear.

I'm rebuilding my Ramsey REP8000 winch that I bought in 1984. And Ramsey still makes all of the parts. Re-stringing it with Amsteel 5/16" rope that I'm splicing up myself. Hidden mount: It doesn't affect ground clearance and acts as a skid plate.

Ive had it for a year now and still works like new. there have been about 3 instances where I would have been screwed without it. And I have winched many trucks out that couldn't be pulled out. so if your looking for a winch I suggest this one.
