I ordered the tires last night but like a dummy I ordered the spare in 15" like I was supposed to, but the four boggers were 16"! I have to call 4 wheel parts first thing this morning and hopefully get that straightened out

 

Looks pretty sweet (except for the tires, of course), and that's a great write-up with excellent pictures. Thanks for taking the time to do that.

The only thing I see that's a little odd is that the kit moves the rear axle forward (presumably to keep from having to lengthen the driveshaft). Hopefully, that won't cause your rear tires to hit the front of the wheelwells. I would probably, at some point, weld on new spring perches, install "normal" spring top plates, and lengthen the driveshaft. But I'm weird that way.

Can't wait to see it with the new tires and wheels!

I'm prepared to cut whatever needs to be cut for tire clearance, but you can only go so far on the front of the rear wheel wells before you're getting into the door

Rough country recommends a roughly 31.6" tire, so my 33" will only add 0.7" to the radius. Hopefully it's not enough to get me in trouble!

 

So, the rims finally showed up!


I like em! Nice and simple, no fancy bling or anything that's just gonna get bashed up on the trail


Also began to mount my off road lights, and removed the stock radio to put in a singe din, with a row of rocker switches below it. That doesn't really pertain to the lift, so I won't put all that in here. Guess I need to start my own build thread.

I finally got confirmation that the tires have shipped, so it'll be next week sometime before they're here.

 

I love those rims. They look like nascar rims lol. How much did they run you?

edit: forgot to ask if you got your tire sizes sorted lol... and what tires did you go with?

 

A set of five, shipped, from summit was right at $300. I think like $302.

The tires finally got sorted! I'm going with super swamper boggers, in 33x10.50x15

 

Finally got it to the exhaust shop. It's on the lift now, I'll post pics of it, and what it cost when they're done

Not gonna lie, the welds look like crap, but it's nice and quiet again, and it was only $45.

I tried to get an alignment, but the Firestone took one look at it, and noped. Got recommended an independent shop in town, but they aren't open weekends. So I'll have to wait till one day after work, and hope I can make it in time

 

Doesnt have to be preaty to work for me! Lol. And that's a great price. Cant wait to see it with the new rubbers and rims on... itll look sweet
