So much for that Carwash
Went on a mini vacation this last weekend. Went to fish/hike Gavins Point Dam, SD (Yankton, SD). On the way back, about 200 miles, I drove 99% of the way through the "backwoods". Found some fun mudholes and what not on my adventure. Keep in mind, 4x4 is broken and it has 235 A/T tires on it.

Speaking of storms, got the week I returned from the trip above.
Hard to tell by the pic but it's a rainwrapped tornado. Stayed there until the hail and sirens. Then I drove home blind, streets were rivers.

Gonna throw these pics and video here. Went out of state today for a funeral and took the scenic way back.
Started up the hill but was going to slow and slipped into a washout rut. I backed back down to a 2 sheriffs sitting there.
Talked with them a bit. They said kids go party up there and school just got out for summer. I told them my plans for the blazer and they said after I finish to come back to this road after a heavy rain or snow for a real challenge.
Finished up talking, went all the way up then recorded my trip back down. Hard to tell but the ruts are about a foot wide and about 2.5 feet deep. My blazer was perfect width for the rutted areas, anything wider would of slipped into them.
