2000 Jimmy door molding/cladding loose at bottom
I've searched but can't find info on how exactly the wide cladding panels are attached. I noticed the one on driver door is gapped at the bottom, not pressed up tight against the door itself like my other 3 doors. If it's just double sided tape at the bottom, does anyone know how to remove the cladding so I can put on new tape? Keep seeing it mentioned that there are clips or screws, and actual holes in the door where these attach, but not how to get at them.
Ah. Got it.
So I looked in my 1999 service manual and it doesn't have the larger panels like yours but only smaller ones. What it does say is that to remove the ones on the 99s you must remove the interior panel to get at the nuts that hold the panels on from the inside. But I wouldn't doubt that there is some double-sided tape involved with yours also,

Thanks! I'm betting there are some bolts or nuts involved, but probably double sided tape at bottom and top. I have new (to me) door speakers I've been meaning to install for years. Maybe it's time to do that and I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone while inside door panel is off.
Also I think I owe you a thanks for contributing to my other post about P0404, through the person who has been helping me 😁
