Default Blazer vs Jimmy core support

Whats the difference between a 2001 Jimmy core support and a 2nd gen (1998-2005) Blazer core support? I got a 2nd gen Blazer headlights grille and bumper. Behind the Jimmy headlights there are the same 2 holes that you use to line up the Blazer headlights on, so why wouldnt Blazer headlights and such work on a Jimmy core support? Do the Blazer core supports have the holes in different spots on the core support? Or would this actually work, I just need to do some headlight adjustments? I can get the headlights clipped onto the core support (with some extra pushing to get the tabs into the holes to clip onto) the problem is that the headlights do not match the fenderline. There are screws on the back of the headlight, can I use those to line it up or do I need a blazer core support?

Im just not sure. All the ones I read are people with 1st Gen Jimyms going to 2nd gen Blazers. I wanna know the difference since Amazon says the core support is the same for both. Can't see differences in images between the two

I just when through changing the front on my jimmy. From 1998 and up everything will work in the existing rad support. They are the same from blazer to jimmy. When you are going from pre 1998 to post 1998 you need to change support in order to mount lights and grill. So in short....you are good..no difference in the 1998 and up jimmy to blazer. Your fender line problem could be the lights themself. Had one come in with those style aftermarket lights in it and they didnt fit well at all. Ugly gaps.

Thats great to hear. I thought thats what it was but I wanted to confirm. So why isnt it lining up with the fender then? Are there adjustment screws on the back of the headlight? The grille was also a inch more inwards from the fender too.

Dont know about the headlight adjustment. Like i said it could just be the lights themselves. As for the grill....if there is any twist in the support at all it wont be perfect.

I wonder if you could compare to stock ones, they migh not of gotten measured right. Or it looks like the chrome piece around the headlight isnt there.

I'm not sure. This certainly frustrates me though. Im gonna try those screws on the back. Maybe adjust to face upwards more and tilt more towards the fender to match up and see what happens lol

I have a third party grill in a while I like the looks of it, it does leave gaps.
