cassette player to pocket

i just pulled the cassette player out of my blazer. I am going to make a pocket/place for switches. im going to use a 3d printer and draw the part on the computer. will place pictures when its done!

I took out my cassette player as well and put my scanner in the opening.. I think it turned out pretty good.

How do you remove the tray in front of the cassette player and cassette player I keep prying on tray in front of cassette player afraid I'm going to break the tray in front of cassette player.
