Hey guys, on Tuesday I will receive two 2in receiver tubes that I will bolt to my frame where my factory tow hooks were at. I plan on making a custom winch mount with a bumper guard, I will take some 2 in square stock, 3/16 thick on each side, and mount them in the receiver tubes with the standard 5/8 in pin, and from those two pieces of stock will be the frame for my bumper and winch, I am going to use 5/16 in thick by 6 in wide flats and double it for the base of the winch. What do you guys think? Think it will work without looking that funny? And with it being held to my frame by the 2in receiver tubes, I could make other "attachments". How does this idea sound??
