Default Full convertible

Is it possible to perform a full convertible conversion on an 84 k5 without any donor parts. What I would like to do is just purchase a full convertible soft top and fan the truck to make it fit. Is this possible? Would I still need donor parts? What all would be intailed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the roof on these blazers is part of the structural integrity of the vehicle. so if you go convertible hopefully you have a good body to begin with or build a roll cage. ive owned old blazers where you couldnt even take the cap off the back of the bed sides would fall down
