Default Off Road Lights

I wanna put some off road lights on my roof rack. Not cheap Harbor Freight ones either. I was looking at Kc Hilite Daylighters. I want to do 4 across the roof rack but not sure what the setup should be. Flood lights on the out sides and 2 long rangers in the middle? Just 4 long ranges? Could i even do 4 with my stock alternator or would i need to have it beefed up? It's for a 1995 s10 Blazer with the 4.3 Liter Vortec V6. The alternators fairly new, as is the battery. Just replaced them last spring if that would help at all. Anyone got any ideas or has done it before any help would be great!!

Take a look through my garage under 'Tigger' to see how 4 KC daylighter long range lights look and perform. My alt had just a little trouble with them all on at once, but doing 'the big 3' helped that issue out immensely.

Edit: Well apparently I don't have output shots of those lights there. Let me find them on my PB.

Here's a vid of them with the hid headlights I had at the time.

Here's how they look on a wall without the headlights.

Here's the distance you can expect out of them.

So I'd suggest two long ranges in the middle, and two floods on the outside. I found myself wanting more light on the sides before I got the hids.

Ill do that! What set up are you running? 4 long ranges? And also is that a generic roof rack type thing you mounted them too?

It was 4 long ranges and they were on a Carr lightbar mounted in front of the stock roof rack.

I also edited my first post.

I have pro comp 55s on mine and I love them. They are a fraction of the cost of the day lighters with comparable output IMO. I also like them cause they have a slimmer housing. I had day lighters on my discovery an have no complaints but for the money I would buy the pro comps over the kcs any day! I have a some comparo shots somewhere in my build pg29. I do plan on mounting 2 flood lights near my door pillars for additional side lighting.

Yeah I wouldn't spend the $$ on KCs again. Not really worth it. Get the cheapos at harbor freight that look just like them, and go with hid kits in them.

Does anyone have the Procomp led light bars? I'm thinking of getting one beacuse they are more affordable than the Rigid Industries LEDs.
