painted grille emblem
so i was thinking about painting my front grille emblem then stock color of my truck. its green.
my uncle had a truck with the same color paint and gave me a can of paint would i be able to use a brush and brush it on and then clear coat it?

sure, why not? you can do what you like with what you have. but i'd suggest using a can of spray paint.
sand down the emdlem with a high grit (very smoothe) sand paper, primer, then apply whatever color paint you like.

If it's like PPG or any of those kinds then I would have to say no because you have to mix it with reducer and hardener and all of that jazz. I would no recommend brushing paint on because it is very thin stuff and you would get brush marks and it just wouldn't look right. I would do what vin791 said.

what he said but use an adhesion promoter (look at auto zone or where ever in the paint section) other wise it wont last long
as for the brush no way it would look like crap but you might be able to dip it in there and just make sure you hold it in a way that the drips wont show when mounted nut i would use one from a salvage yard incase the dipping thing doesnt look to good
