And they put a TON of salt on the road too, which doesn't really help with keeping rust free cars

 

I'm pretty sure Michigan uses more salt that Wisconsin does. I had seen a chart at a dealer in 2002 when I bought my Camaro of road salt use and Michigan was the highest in the nation. I know the underside of my 98 Jimmy was full of rust. My 03 Blazer must have been from down south because there's barely a hit of rust on it. Too bad it will probably look like crap after I drive it through this winter.
